We brought these grapes to the winery on October 19. The fruit looked very pretty at 20.4Brix, 8.7g/L TA and 3.20pH.
This wine has a nice translucent garnet color. The nose has some nice strawberry, sachet and floral notes that smell like summer gardenias. In the mouth some red cherries pop out to compliment the strawberry flavors. The mouth feel is just plain juicy. The finish has a light touch, but lingers with the good acidity.
You can sip this wine with cold cuts, charcuterie and assorted hard cheeses. A summer basil pesto would work wonderfully here.
